Hurricane Jeanne 2004

Hurricane Jeanne came through and hit Florida just 3 miles from where Francis hit 3 weeks prior. This category 3 storm was more devastating than Francis as Caloosa was not in the eyewall this time and instead survived the storm riding the exterior of the eyewall.during the night of 9/25/04.

The next day, the residents in Caloosa had a close up look at the destruction which was worse than Francis had handed Caloosa only 3 weeks prior.  Agin, the next morning, while the storm was still passing over, CERT mobilized immediately and set up their Command Center at the park and proceeded to go house to house to offer aid and assistance as well as assessing damage to the properties and utilities.
